What you’ll Need

- Medium pack (approx 400g) of diced or strip beef
- Pack (approx 300g) of “ready to use” supermarket brought fresh vegetable stir-fry
- Pack (300g approx) of cooked and “ready to use” fresh noodles
- 2 x Asiatique butter cubes
- Dark soya sauce
- Ketchup
- Brown sauce
- Worcester saucep
- Sweet chilli sauce
- Honey

Method of preparation and cooking

Marinade
Take 2x tablespoons of each of the ketchup, Soya, brown & Worcester sauce and place in a bowl with half a teaspoon of honey. Next, mix well and gently stir in the strips of raw beef, until evenly coated and leave for a minimum of thirty minutes.

Stir fry
Once the beef has been marinated, add it, and any existing marinade to a pan on a low flame and gently blanch for 5 minutes, until the beef has turned grey in appearance. Now add the Asiatique butter, veg stir-fry, the fresh noodles, a drizzle of boiling water from the kettle and a good dollop of sweet chilli sauce, before returning to a medium-high flame and cooking for an additional ten minutes…ensuring you turn the mix repeatedly, to stop uneven cooking or catching on the pan. Finally serve in a bowl and accompany with prawn crackers, or just enjoy it on its own and be pleased with the amount you saved on a “less than fresh” take-away
