What you’ll Need
- 300g of frozen mash pellets
- 2 x frozen spinach pellets (approx 20g)
- 2 x Asiatique Butter cubes
- Good dash of dark Soya sauce
- Salt & Pepper
Method of preparation and cooking
This is simply one of the quickest and tasty things you can make, when you are time sensitive or can’t be bothered with the hassle of cooking
Take the frozen Mash pellets, spinach, Asiatique butter and a good few dashes of Soya sauce
Place in a bowl and cover with cling film
Next place the covered bowl in the microwave and turn on for 5 minutes on the “de-frost setting”
Once de-frosted turn the setting to high and cook for a further two minutes (all microwaves vary in power, so tweak timings accordingly to your machine)
When thoroughly heated through, mix well…so that all the ingredients have been brought together
As an optional extra, pour some normal melted butter over the top…to keep it in line with the Irish recipe of Champ, which is were I have drawn inspiration for this dish
Works well as a “comforter cuisine” or as a side order for all sorts of Asian inspired meals
