What you’ll Need
- Pack of supermarket brought “washed &peeled” tiger prawns
- 2 x meuniere butter cubes
- Drizzle of bottled lemon juice
- Salt & Pepper
Method of preparation and cooking
Take the Meunière butter and put in a frying pan with the prawns, salt and pepper.
Place on a medium heat and cook for 5-6 minutes, or until the prawns have turned white, ensuring you toss the mixture during cooking for an even glaze and taste. Just before plating-up, drizzle some of the bottled lemon juice and stir into the pan of butter and prawns
If serving as a starter, dress a plate with a simple mixed leaf, or add the prawns to rice, noodles or even serve with a steak for a decadent variant of “surf and turf
Ideal in a ciabatta or for the adventurous one with some serrano ham or some chorizo read more
